The Emotion living room is the focus of this page: a classic look built on brass, high-quality woods and visible handwork. Three current Francesco Pasi pieces suit that approach and are shown alongside it: a gilded three-seater sofa, a hand-carved bookcase with drawers and a cherry sideboard with bicolour panels.
What made the Emotion look recognisable?
Brass worked with high-quality woods and traditional materials, and the handwork showed on every piece. Metal accents and wood grain carried equal weight. To recreate it, choose furniture whose craft is visible up close, and browse our italian living room furniture with that test in mind.
How tall should a classic bookcase be?
Measure ceiling height and wall width first, then leave clear space above and at the sides. At H 232 x W 130 x D 52.5 cm, the Gran Guardia Bookcase with Drawers by Francesco Pasi needs that margin to look settled. Master craftsmen carve it entirely by hand, in solid cherry.
Sofa and sideboard: which finishes match?
Match the sideboard to the bookcase and let the sofa carry the gold. The Opera 3-Seater Sofa by Francesco Pasi has gold leaf or silver leaf details, with finishes from Luxury White to 100 Gloss Taupe. Other shapes are grouped under each italian sofa set on the site.
Below a mirror or painting, the New Deco Sideboard with Natural Bicolor Panels by Francesco Pasi offers solid cherry doors and drawers, 34 mm, in cherry, lacquer or Luxury.
