The Coliseum living room joined high-gloss polyester Brazilian rosewood with brushed stainless steel and blown glass, and this page covers that collection. The gallery shows its bar, bar stools, buffet, consoles, TV base and fixed sofa. Current pieces from Epoque, Francesco Pasi and Cantori carry the same mix.
What made Coliseum distinctive?
Its material mix made it distinctive: gloss rosewood, brushed steel and glassblowing in one room. The photographs below show the Coliseum collection, including a bar cabinet, bar stools, a buffet and a base for a plasma TV. To repeat that mix today, pair one gloss wood with one metal surface.
Which TV wall gives the same gloss?
A walnut wall system in 100 Gloss gives it. The Icon Wall System with TV Opening, Compact by Francesco Pasi is veneered in Canaletto walnut and comes in Sahara, Terra, Testa di Moro or Fumo di Londra, in 100 Gloss or matt. In front of it, the Argon Sofa by Epoque, from the Exence collection, has a base clad in steel and piping on the edges. Keep its fabric plain so the gloss wall stays the focus. See complete italian living room sets.
Where does metal come in?
On the sideboard, where it is seen and touched every day. The Melody Sideboard by Cantori has four wooden doors fully covered in metal with raised sphere sections. Inside, a recessed glass shelf with polished edges divides two compartments. A lamp beside it makes the sphere sections catch the light. Compare it with other luxury designer sideboards.
