This page is about the Settanta modern bedroom, a Mediterranean design built on colour, shape and fabric. The photographs below show its bed, tallboy, night tables and chest of drawers. The text explains which current pieces carry the same light, relaxed mood into a bedroom today.
The Settanta mood
Settanta is a modern bedroom with a Mediterranean feel, meant to recall a summer day in Portofino. Colour, shape and fabric carry the look, not ornament. The gallery shows the bed, tallboy, night tables and chest of drawers that made up the set.
Pale ash and quilted lacquer
The Musa Bed by Francesco Pasi, here with headboard Model A in a 160x200 size, is built in ash blockboard with solid ash parts and stands on solid ash legs. Its five lacquered ash tones run from White Ash to Ash Grey. The Ocean Chest of Drawers, also by Francesco Pasi, has a hand-quilted rhombus-pattern facade in lacquered Butter, Pearl or White, with gold leaf or chrome leaf decoration. The chest has doors and drawers in 28 mm solid wood. You will find more pieces in this key among our modern italian bedroom sets.
A bedside table with a reflective top
The Narciso Bedside Table by Cantori has a square-section solid iron structure, with the top and drawer covered in mirror, metal or leather. It measures H 53 x W 45 x D 45 cm. Mirror picks up the light from a window, while leather keeps the room quieter. For the rest of the room, browse our luxury bedroom furniture.
