This page covers the Amelie Gold classic bedroom and how to use gold detail in a bedroom today. Amelie Gold set a carved solid wood bed beside floral nightstands, a floral vanity table, a stool, lamps and a mirror. The pieces discussed here bring gold leaf to the bed, the wardrobe and the bedside.
How much gold a bedroom can take
Gold reads well on edges and carving, not on whole surfaces. Keep it to the bed frame, bedside table and wardrobe detail, and leave walls and fabrics quiet. Amelie Gold placed its floral motifs on the nightstand and the vanity table. Here the bed and the bedside table can both take gold leaf, which sets the pattern for the rest of the room.
A wide bed with a gilded bedside table
The Opera Upholstered Bed, 200x200 cm by Francesco Pasi measures H 138 x W 212 x D 218 cm and offers gold leaf or silver leaf options. Beside it, the Gran Guardia Open Bedside Table with 1 Drawer, also by Francesco Pasi, measures H 68 x W 62 x D 41 cm, with gold leaf applied by hand and carving made by hand. Find matching high end bedroom sets in the bedroom range.
A large sliding wardrobe
A wall of storage needs sliding doors when the bed stands close. The Gran Guardia Wardrobe, 2 Sliding Doors, Wood Panels by Francesco Pasi measures H 250 x W 244 x D 67 cm, and its carving is made entirely by hand in solid cherry. Its two sliding doors are fitted with wood panels, and white lacquer with silver patina is offered for a lighter wall. For a cleaner line elsewhere in the home, see upscale modern furniture.
